Course Description and Objectives
This course provides training for system administrators on setting up the environment, server and supporting software/products, as well as
configuring the HIPAAxchange application for use.

Prerequisites
Participants are expected to have high-level knowledge of Windows NT or UNIX operations, as well as familiarity with software installation, system administration, data networking and graphical user interface (GUI) operations.

Target Audience
This course has been designed for non-technical HIPAAxchange users.
Course Description and Objectives
This course provides reference information on using the HIPAAxchange
application, general healthcare claims concepts, claims status inquiries, EDI concepts, trading partner concepts, eligibility requests, repository load and transaction processing concepts.

Prerequisites
Participants are expected to have knowledge of general healthcare
concepts, an understanding of EDI (electronic data interchange), basic computer knowledge and to be familiar with healthcare administration/employee benefits industry concepts and terminology.
